About Me
Welcome to my page: micromovements!
My name is Gemma and I am first and foremost a physiotherapist. Graduating from Northumbria University, Newcastle, UK in 2019. Working within the NHS, I rotated across different specialities and I therefore, have a wealth of knowledge and experience treating in a variety of ways across the lifespan.
After the initial chaos of COVID-19, I migrated to New Zealand in 2021, pursing further training in musculoskeletal injuries, Pilates and Dry Needling. Finally, I arrived in Melbourne to set up a life with my partner and an exciting project of micromovements.
After years of treating many different people in pain, I want to empower clients to understand their bodies and improve their lives with my guidance and expertise. Micromovements gives individuals and companies preventative strategies, as well as treating acute injuries and chronic conditions through strengthening, hands on therapy, education and many other modalities.
